Melbourne born and bred, bassist Simon dabbled with some local bands in his early years before starting Circadian Pulse at the beginning of 2008. He got into music after discovering Queen, got into metal after discovering Pantera and got into Prog Metal after discovering Dream Theater. Some of his other favourite/influential bands include Fates Warning, Queensryche, Symphony X, Threshold and Faith No More. His most significant bassists include Billy Sheehan, Victor Wooten, Stu Hamm and John Myung. He plays Ibanez basses and uses Mark bass amplification.
